1. Oppo Launches the Oppo Find X9s

The Oppo Find X9s is the third model in the X9 series by Oppo and is scheduled to go on sale in India on May 28 via Amazon and the Oppo online store. Available in three colour options, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 series chipset and paired with a 7,025mAh battery and a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ OLED display. The smartphone is dual-SIM and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and a fingerprint scanner for security. Additionally, it also boasts a Hasselblad-tuned rear camera system, which is a highlight.
2. Samsung Unveils 2026 Odyssey and ViewFinity Monitor Lineup

Samsung has launched its 2026 gaming and professional monitor lineup globally, headlined by the industry's first 6K gaming monitor — the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS). Running at 165Hz, it also supports 330Hz at 3K via Dual Mode. The 27-inch G8 offers 5K at 180Hz or 360Hz in QHD, while the OLED G8 brings 4K at 240Hz with QD-OLED Penta Tandem technology. The more accessible Odyssey OLED G7 delivers 4K at 165Hz. On the professional side, the ViewFinity S8 lineup includes a 40-inch WUHD display with Thunderbolt 5 and a 27-inch 5K model. All models are available now.
3. Realme Announces the India launch of the Buds Air8 Pro
Launching in India on May 22, 2026
Realme announces the India launch of the Buds Air8 Pro, set for May 22, 2026. The earbuds go live alongside the realme Watch S5 smartwatch and the realme 16T 5G smartphone. The biggest highlight of the Buds Air8 Pro is its up to 55dB adaptive active noise cancellation, paired with a wide 5000 Hz ANC bandwidth that intelligently adjusts to surrounding environments. The earbuds feature an 11mm + 6mm Dual DAC driver configuration, which should deliver a more layered soundstage than a single-driver setup. The Buds Air8 Pro also brings Hi-Res wireless audio support and multi-device connectivity. Additionally, they also support live translation in over 30 languages via the realme Link app, along with AI-powered question answering through Next AI. The Buds can last up to 12 hours on a single charge and up to 50 hours with the case and are expected to be available in Master Black and Master White colour options.
4. Google Unveils the Googlebook, its New Category of Laptops
Launching Fall 2026

Designed for Gemini Intelligence, The Googlebook will be an AI-focused laptop featuring Google's app store and browser. The laptops will be compatible with Android smartphones and will make switching between laptop and phone easier. It will also have the Quick Access feature to view, search, and insert files directly from the laptop to your Android phones. However, the highlight of the Googlebook is the Magic Pointer feature, which gives quick & easy access to Gemini. Google is working with Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo to make the first generation of Googlebook laptops and will share more details when devices become available this fall.
5. Apple Brings Sleep Apnea Detection and Hearing Test Features to India

Apple has received regulatory clearance to roll out two significant health features in India. Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2, and the new SE now support Sleep Apnea Notifications, which use the watch's accelerometer to track breathing disturbances over a 30-day window and alert users to signs of moderate or severe sleep apnea. Separately, AirPods Pro (2nd and 3rd generation) now offer a five-minute Hearing Test that maps hearing ability across eight frequencies, generating a clinical-grade audiogram stored in the Health app. Both tools are built with privacy in mind, using on-device processing and end-to-end encryption, with results easily shareable with doctors.
6. Spotify Introduces AI Audio Tool to Personalise Music Recommendations & More

Spotify introduces Studio by Spotify Labs, a standalone desktop app designed to create audio shaped around personal preferences. The AI tool understands your Spotify taste across music, podcasts, and audiobooks. With your permission, it can take action on your behalf: research topics, use a web browser, organise information, and help complete tasks. It can also connect to everyday tools like calendar, inbox, and notes. For example, you can ask the tool to recommend podcasts for a long drive, suggest dinner spots or create audio guides for a new travel destination. Studio by Spotify Labs is launching in the coming weeks as a Research Preview to select users in 20+ markets, ages 18 and over.
