1. TOM FORD Unveils Black Orchid Reserve with a Star-Studded Private Dinner in Venice

TOM FORD celebrated the launch of Black Orchid Reserve, its newest fragrance starring Tilda Swinton, with an intimate dinner at Palazzo Contarini Polignac, hosted by Creative Director Haider Ackermann. Guests included Swinton, Edward Enninful, Inez & Vinoodh, Farida Khelfa, Kate Moss, Paris Jackson, Indya Moore, and more, many wearing TOM FORD eyewear. The new scent debuts the elusive Ghost Orchid note, a luminous white floral that contrasts Black Orchid’s rich accords, marking a bold new chapter for the iconic fragrance.

2. Experience a Tale of Two Traditions at JW Marriott Goa

This August, JW Marriott Goa’s Heliconia welcomes Chef Golpin Sianipar of Mayouchi, The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, for an exclusive pop-up celebrating the harmony of Chinese and Japanese cuisines reimagined with modern flair. On 29th and 30th August (7–11 PM), guests can indulge in a multi-course tasting menu featuring signatures like Miso Black Cod, Kinoko Gyoza, and Yuzu Cheesecake. The celebration continues at the Bubbalicious Brunch at JW Kitchen on 31st August (1–4 PM), with interactive sushi, dim sum, and Chef Golpin’s signature creations.

3. Explore Monsoon on a Plate with IHCL’s Culinary Collective in Bengaluru

This September, celebrate the season of rains with The Culinary Collective: Monsoon Edition, a week-long showcase from 1st to 7th September across six IHCL hotels in Bengaluru. For the first time, iconic dining destinations at Taj and Vivanta — Blue Ginger, Paranda, Soi & Sake, The Trinity Square, Wink, and Terracotta — come together to present exclusive prix fixe menus.

4. Hotel Gabrielli, Venice Reopens Under Starhotels Collezione

Venice welcomes back a true icon as the historic Hotel Gabrielli reopened on August 25, 2025, under the Starhotels Collezione brand. Overlooking the Venetian lagoon from Riva degli Schiavoni, the 19th-century palazzo has been meticulously restored, reducing its rooms from 105 to 66 for a more elevated, intimate five-star experience. Highlights include a grand Presidential Suite with a private rooftop terrace, a 600 sqm hidden garden, the Felice al Gabrielli Restaurant led by Executive Chef Mirko Pistorello, the stylish K Lounge Bar, and the panoramic Terrazza Gabrielli sky bar. Bharat Tripathi returns with his much-awaited solo exhibition ‘Anjaneya’ at Mumbai’s iconic Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda. Previewing on 8th September 2025, the exhibition runs from 9th to 14th September, 11 AM–7 PM, showcasing twelve figurative-abstract works dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Rendered in a striking red palette, each painting reimagines stories from the Ramayan with a modern sensibility, inspired by Tripathi’s lifelong devotion to the Hanuman Chalisa.
